Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Punjab has criticized the government for maneuvering to change the name of Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP).
PPP Punjab Parliamentary leader Syed Hassan Murtaza said even the dictators have failed to erase names of Bhutto and BB Shaheed.
He said the BISP was constituted through legislation and the present government would not be able to amend it. He said the government has no votes to amend the law. The government has already been exposed on the issue of extension to the army chief, he added.
