Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that India is deliberately heightening tension on the Line of Control (LoC) to divert attention from the internal chaos in India created by Modi government.
The foreign minister chaired a meeting of the former foreign secretaries at the Foreign Office on Friday to hold deliberations on the regional situations, especially the situation in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir as well as to chalk out the strategy to highlight the Indian atrocities at the international level.
The meeting also discussed the continued curfew, Indian aggression in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and critical situation of peace and security of the region.
Speaking at the meeting, the foreign minister said that India has continued the unprovoked ceasefire violations along the LoC to divert attention from its internal situation. He said that Pakistan's armed forces are giving a befitting response to the Indian ceasefire violations.
"The fire which was ignited by Modi's government in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir on August 5 has now spread over the entire India. Today, the anti-Muslim and Hindutva ideology of the Modi government has divided the entire India," he added.
The foreign minister said that Pakistan is exposing Indian brutalities in the occupied valley at every international platform. He said that India deprived the world of getting access to the ground realties of Occupied Kashmir by imposing restrictions on the means of communications.
