The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan (ICMA Pakistan) and the NBFIs & Mobaraba Association of Pakistan have joined hands to collaborate and promote industry-academia linkages.
In this regard, a MoU was signed by Aamir Ijaz Khan, FCMA - Executive Director of ICMA Pakistan and Muhammad Shoaib Ibrahim, Chairman of NBFIs & Mobaraba Association of Pakistan (MAP). Also present at the occasion were Mr. Basheer A. Chowdry, Chief Executive, Trust Modaraba, Raheel Q. Ahmed, Managing Director & CEO, Orix Modaraba, Muhammad Samiullah, Secretary General NBFI and MAP and Asim Husain Khan, Director Members' Professional Development and Corporate Trainings, ICMA Pakistan.
Aamir Ijaz Khan, Executive Director, ICMA Pakistan while commenting on the occasion said, "ICMA Pakistan is extremely pleased to sign an MoU with NBFIs & Mobaraba Association of Pakistan. We appreciate the efforts of Muhammad Shoaib Ibrahim, Chairman of NBFIs & MAP in recognizing the importance of management accounting profession and its effectiveness for the industry. ICMA Pakistan and NBFIs & MAP will work together to develop a joint action plan for implementing and executing the objectives of the collaboration."
Also speaking on the occasion, Muhammad Shoaib Ibrahim, Chairman of NBFIs & Mobaraba Association of Pakistan, "We are pleased to join hands with ICMA Pakistan as this will ensure that our Association can tap into the best talent in Pakistan. This collaboration will also help contribute towards increasing financial literacy and creating awareness about NBFIs & Mobarabas in the country."-PR
