Pakistan imported warm clothing by 1 percent more to $70.634 million in July-Nov 2019, official figures say. Increase now comes to the tune of a $664,000 in July-Nov 2019 from $69.970 million in July-Nov 2018, Pakistan Bureau of Statistics shows.
In term of volume, the country's import of warm clothing however posted a fall of 16 percent or 29,594 metric tons to 160,508 metric tons in July-Nov 2019 from 190,102 metric tons in July-Nov 2018.
In Nov 2019, import of warm clothing grew by 9 percent or $1.31 million to $16.580 million from $15.270 million in Nov 2018. Import volume of warm clothing fell by 11 percent or 4389 metric tons to 36,976 metric tons in Nov 2019 from 41,365 metric tons in Nov 2018.
