Suzuki revises retail price of automobiles

Pak Suzuki Motor Co Ltd (PSMCL) has revised automobile retail prices from January, 2020.

According to details, the retail price of Bolan VX IM has revised from Rs 1,050,000 to Rs 1,099,000. Similarly, Bolan Cargo from Rs 990,000 to Rs 1,040,000, Ravi from Rs 941,000 to Rs 999,000, WagonR VXR from Rs 1,540,000 to Rs 1,605,000, WagonR VXL from Rs 1,625,000 to Rs 1,695,000, Alto VXR from Rs 1,308,000 to Rs 1,398,000, Alto VXL/AGS from Rs 1,518,000 to 1,598,000, Swift DLX Navi from Rs 1,905,000 to Rs 1,995,000 and Swift AT Navi from Rs 2,050,000 to Rs 2,140,000.

Meanwhile, PSMCL spokesman said: "Since all four consecutive quarters till September 2019, the company is continuously in the losses, which are now going on higher side.

He said PSMCL had been trying to make the price increase as moderate as possible despite massive cost increase caused by huge currency depreciation and high tax/duty increase; adding that now minimal price increase was indispensable for PSMCL and all local vendors to overcome this difficult situation and continue business onward.
