Road checking campaign: Sindh E&T department recovers Rs 19.094 million

Sindh Excise and Taxation (E&T) department has recovered Rs 19.094 million during its road checking campaign. According to details, during road checking campaign, which will be ended in Karachi on January 12, 2020, the department has checked 25278 vehicles, of which, 962 were impounded and documents of 1812 vehicles were confiscated.

Around 6853 vehicles were checked in Karachi, 6636 in Hyderabad, 3125 in Sukkur, 3310 in Larkana, 2642 in Mirpurkhas and 1307 vehicles were checked in Shaheed Benazirabad. During road checking campaign, around Rs 19.094 million were recovered in term of taxes and fines. In Karachi Rs 1,692,849 were recovered, in Hyderabad Rs 3,967,677, in Sukkur Rs 2,395,168, in Larkana Rs 4,635,966, in Mirpurkhas Rs 3,160,696 and in Shaheed Benazirabad Rs 3,241,962 were recovered in term of taxes and fines.
