Model Customs Collectorate (MCC), Preventive has collected Rs 61.79 billion till the second quarter of current financial year, 2019-20 ended on December 31, 2019.
According to details, the department has collected Rs 22.96 billion under the head of customs duty while Rs 37.36 billion, Rs 985 million and Rs 479 million were deposited in the kitty under the heads of sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty, respectively.
The overall revenue collection for the month of December stood at Rs 9.58 billion of which Rs 4.04 billion was collected as customs duty while Rs 5.41 billion, Rs 106 million and Rs 20.9 million were generated under the heads of sales tax, income tax and federal excise duty, respectively.
