Kapco clarification

This is with reference to the news article titled "KAPCO disallowed to participate" published in daily Business Recorder dated January 2, 2020.

The news item states that the Privatisation Commission has reportedly refused to allow M/s Kot Addu Power Company (Kapco) to participate in bidding of projects in Punjab'. This reporting is incorrect and hence misleading. The Company has not been disallowed to participate in bidding of power projects in Punjab by the Privatisation Commission.
