DG PFA said that the purpose of the inspection was ensuring the supply of pure milk at every nook and corner of Punjab as per the vision of PM and Punjab Government. According to details, PFA's dairy teams have taken milk samples for screening test on the spot and took action against 162 milk sellers over found results not up to the mark. He said that the teams examined 992 milk vehicles in Lahore Zone, 611 in Rawalpindi, 163 in Multan and 51 vehicles in Muzaffargarh Zone. In Lahore Zone, PFA's enforcement teams have disposed of 4,973 litres tainted milk (white poison) which was being carried on 80 milk vehicles.

He said that authority had disposed of milk over proved contamination of harmful chemicals, powder, urea and water which used for increasing the thickness and quantity of milk.
