Bykea Cash, an on-the-spot payment solution, will be introduced in three major cities of Pakistan, i.e., Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi, in this month, said Muneeb Maayr, founder of Bykea, a leading online on-demand ride-hailing and parcel delivery service provider, here on Friday.
Bykea, started in December 2016 and currently operates in Karachi, Rawalpindi and Lahore had introduced the beta version of Bykea cash services in Karachi only with the aim to provide an on-the-spot payment solution to its customers. And, now they are coming out of its testing phase and introducing the service in the big three cities of Pakistan. "We have made payments of 'cash on delivery' (COD) against a parcel delivery simple and prompt. In normal practice, a seller sending a parcel to its customer through a courier service normally receives the COD after three to four weeks whereas our riders will promptly transfer the money received from the buyer to the accounts of the sellers through banking 1link network. So, as soon as the cash is collected we will transfer it to a bank account or a branchless banking account at Jazz Cash or Easypaisa; in fact, we have evolved COD to 'cash to digital'," said Maayr.
Another aspect of the Bykea Cash, he said, is an on-the-spot transfer of money through their Bykea riders who will collect the cash and straightway transfer it to desired accounts through their system."
About Bykea, he said that it is a Karachi-based company that provides a service of cheap transportation on motorbikes and parcel delivery in three cities.
