Celebs raise concern over Australia’s bushfire

• Many Hollywood A-listers have also raised and donated millions of dollars to help emergency services.
• The fires have so far claimed at least 24 lives, left dozens injured and destroyed more than 1,000 homes and left 500 million animals dead.

As Australia’s bushfire have burned through around 15 million acres and claimed many lives, worldwide celebrities have been raising their concerns over the ongoing climate change.

Many Hollywood A-listers have also raised and donated millions of dollars to help emergency services and wildlife rescue organizations in the affected region. Bunch of celebs at the recently held Golden Globes 2020 also talked about the crisis.

The fires have so far claimed at least 24 lives, left dozens injured including hero firefighters and volunteers, destroyed more than 1,000 homes and left 500 million animals dead.

My parents told me it poured a little today but we are all still praying for more rains!

They live about 70kms from the fires & said that temperature is soaring up by the day.

This was my last eve in Byron, NSW, Australia. To get a sense of how beautiful the wildlife regularly sounds... Please turn up the volume. The fires have been truly horrendous. It’s so upsetting and worrying. So much wildlife already lost. And still much of the summer ahead. My heart goes out to those who’ve lost loved ones and homes.
