Two killed, 14 injured in Quetta blast
- Fourteen of the injured, including two security personnel have been shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.

(Karachi) Two people were killed while several suffered injuries when a blast occurred near a vehicle of the security forces in Quetta’s Maikangi Road, media reported on Tuesday. At least 14 injured, including two security personnel, have been shifted to Civil Hospital for treatment.
Eye witnesses said the blast occurred at Meezan Chowk that claimed life of two people and injured 14 others.
Soon after the incident, police reached the spot and cordoned off the area. The police said that the nature of the blast could not be ascertained as yet.
They maintained the exact number of casualties in the incident could not be known as initial investigations are underway. They said the police are conducting investigations from all angles.
Meanwhile, Baluchistan Interior Minister confirmed the explosion occurred near the vehicle of security forces. He condemned the incident and said the enemies of the country want to disrupt peace and destabilise it.
He ordered the officials concerned to provide quality treatment to the blast victims.
