The signing was in return for a donation to ‘Elephants Without Borders’, an organisation dedicated to conserving wildlife and helps protect the animals from poaching, according to The Times.
Meghan and Prince Harry’s recent announcement about stepping back as senior royals roles means that they can now pursue careers outside of their royal duties. In their statement they also said that they want to seek ‘financial independence’, however the couple have yet to say exactly how they will meet their ambition to become financially independent.
Disney’s deal now hints at Meghan's future career plans, which could see the couple use their celebrity status to benefit chosen causes. She might also return back to entertainment industry in the coming years.
