A sub-committee of federal cabinet on Monday decided to place name of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on the Exit Control List (ECL) following recommendations of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in the Chaudhry Sugar Mills case.
Sources said that sub-committee of cabinet headed by Law Minister Farogh Naseem has decided to place name of Maryam on no fly list on the advice of anti-graft body.
They said that NAB Lahore through a letter has recommended to Ministry of Interior to put name of Maryam on ECL in the Chuadhry Sugar Mills case.
It is pertinent to be mention here that Maryam Nawaz's name is already on the ECL in Al Azizia reference, which she had challenged in the Lahore High Court (LHC). The LHC has fixed Maryam Nawaz's plea seeking removal of her name from the ECL on January 15.
