Governor Sindh Imran Ismail has said that the division of Sindh is not acceptable and Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stands with the people of Sindh.
Talking to media persons after meeting Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) leader Pir Saddaruddin Shah and Pir Pagara, here on Tuesday, the governor said that the GDA is the close political ally of the PTI government and both parties stand united on different issues, adding that PTI had no differences with the GDA leadership.
Ismail said the government is working for the development of Sindh province and has initiated a number of development schemes in different districts.
Speaking on the occasion, Pir Saddaruddin Shah said that during the meeting issues such as gas shortage, loadshedding and scarcity of water had been discussed in detail.
He said the GDA would not allow the division of Sindh and Karachi is the capital of the province."
