Clean, green Pakistan is PM Imran’s vision: Murad Saeed

(Karachi) Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed has said that clean and green Pakistan is the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan. He added the government is working to make the country clean and green.
Addressing an event in Islamabad on Wednesday, he said the previous governments took the country to the brink of destruction. He said the PTI government rebuilt the country from scratch as the previous rulers were only involved in corruption and looting public money.
He maintained that the Billion Tree campaign that was initiated in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa was appreciated worldwide.
He said the revenue of National Highway Authority (NHA) increased to Rs25 billion in 16 months.
Saeed mentioned the government initiated different schemes to facilitate the poor segments of the society. “The PTI government provided shelter to the homeless by introducing shelter homes across the country.”
The federal minister said it is the milestone achievement of the present government to initiate ‘Langar scheme’ to provide food to the poor.
Murad pointed out that the government has taken measures to boost the economy of the country. He said the ‘Hunarmand Pakistan’ project aims to equip the youth with technical skills and create job opportunities in the country.
He highlighted the PTI government will make Pakistan economically stable and strong.
