Priyanka Chopra to star opposite Richard Madden in ‘Avengers’ director’s TV series ‘Citadel’

• Priyanka revealed that she will be teaming up with ‘Game of Thrones’ star Richard Madden and Russo Brothers for new TV series ‘Citadel’.

After ‘Quantico’, the Bollywood diva Priyanka Chopra is back with another captivating series, which will be directed by the Russo Brothers who were behind several ‘Avengers’ films.

Priyanka revealed on Instagram that she will be teaming up with ‘Game of Thrones’ star Richard Madden and Russo Brothers of ‘Avengers’ fame for a brand new series ‘Citadel’.

According to a report in Variety, Amazon made the announcement on Tuesday at the Television Critics Association winter press tour. The upcoming drama series has been titled ‘Citadel’. However, script details have been kept under wraps.

The series will be action, espionage and romance project, which will transcend borders not only in its story but also in the manner in which it will be made. The series will be available in several local language versions with interwoven plots crisscrossing several countries.

The show is conceptualised and produced by Russo Brothers but it will be directed by Indian director duo Raj and DK, who previously helmed the zombie comedy ‘Go Goa Gone’.
