Governor Punjab Ch Muhammad Sarwar said Thursday the government was not under threat due to the differences with its allies. He assured of addressing all concerns of the allies.
He was talking to a delegation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
He said all the plans of the opposition would prove futile and those dreaming of an in-house change would have to cut a sorry figure. He advised the opposition to wait until 2023 for a change in the government.
He said the opposition was dreaming of removing the government since day one but its recent desire would meet similar to the past. He said the government's negotiating team was in contact with the allies. He said it is democratic and constitutional right of the government to complete its tenure.
He also welcomed the government's plan of filling up 129,000 posts in the federal government and expressed the hope that it would address the issue of joblessness in the country.
He said the government was introducing many facilities for overseas Pakistanis and the target of receiving $24 billion remittances would be materialized.
