Davos summit: Coco-Cola expresses interest to further expand investment in Pakistan

Acknowledging the improvement of business environment in Pakistan, Chairman and CEO of Coca-Cola Company James Quincey expressed his interest to further expand the company's investment in Pakistan.
The Coco-Cola CEO called on Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday on the sideline of the World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Advisor to the PM on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, SAPM Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bukhari, Ambassador at Large on Investments Ali Jehangir Siddiqui and Pakistan's Permanent Representative to UN at Geneva Ambassador Khalil Hashmi were also present during the meeting.
During the meeting, the premier appreciated the long association and presence of the company in Pakistan since 1953.The PM said that the government has initiated an effective reforms agenda to facilitate ease-of-doing-business.
The PM also stressed on environment friendly green technology in line with the government's 'Clean & Green Pakistan'.
