A high-level delegation of International Cricket Council (ICC) and Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) visited the Punjab Safe Cities Authority (PSCA) on Thursday to review security measures for Pakistan-Bangladesh T20 series.
The delegation comprised of Chief Executive Officer Manu Sawhney and ICC's Commercial General Manager Campbell Jamieson along with PCB CEO Waseem Khan and chief operating officer Salman Naseer.
According to details, PSCA Managing Director Ali Amir Malik, Chief Operating Officer Akbar Nasir Khan and Chief Administration Officer Kamran Khan briefed the delegation about the security arrangements taken by the law enforcers outside and inside the Qaddafi Stadium, Airport, Hotel and on parking routes with the use of 4G/LTE technologies.
Akbar Nasir also took the delegation to various sections of the authority and briefed them about the project's key role in bringing back international cricket to Pakistan. According to a spokesperson, the delegation members expressed their satisfaction on the security measures.
