Opposition leader in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz Sharif said on Thursday that in house change in parliament is not unconstitutional. He was talking to media outside the Punjab Assembly. He also said that PML-N has opened its doors and windows for every one for this stage. He held government responsible for the ongoing flour and sugar crisis in the country. He hinted that his party is ready to bring in house change in the parliament.
He demanded that government should take immediate notice of the misconduct of traffic police with the journalists. Earlier, while speaking on the floor of the House opposition leader said that when he visited China in the nineties China was in a process of becoming super power and now China is dictating super power like America. The problems of the province cannot be solved by calling the political opponents thieves.
He questioned that if government is claiming that there is no flour crisis then why they are importing three million tonnes of wheat. While talking on Kashmir issue he criticised Indian government for usurping the rights of the people. He appreciated the role of armed forces and law enforcement agencies in war against terrorism.
Hamza said that government should come out of the denial mode. He also said that the provincial government is not accepting the committee constituted by federal government on flour crisis.
He also said that first road of the Kartarpur corridor was built during their tenure. He said this in response to the statement of PTI MPA Maneder Pal Singh that credit of Kartarpur corridor goes to Imran Khan. He further said that credit of Kartarpur corridor goes to chief of army staff general Qamar Javed Bajwa. He said that whoever deserves the credit we should give it to him. Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi gave a ruling that ministers should vacate the rooms in the hostels because they got houses.
