Auqaf department to use tech to monitor cash boxes at shrines

Punjab Auqaf department has decided to use technology for monitoring cash boxes and an increase in the income from shrines. The monitoring would be reviewed after every two weeks to check malpractices in collection of dues. Meanwhile, the targets of 40 zones was also reviewed and Secretary and Chief Administrator Auqaf and expressed his anger over reduction in income from cash boxes at different shrines. He directed the respective officers to monitor cash boxes through technological means and control malpractices.
