The Indian army once again resorted to ceasefire violations from across the restive Line of Control (LoC), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday.

The Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire along LoC in Chirikot Sector and deliberately targeted civil population said the military's media wing. A 21-year-old woman, resident of village Serian, sustained serious injuries and was evacuated to nearby medical facility.

Separately, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed condolences over loss of precious lives due to earthquake in Turkey. Pakistan Army contingent including Special Rescue & Relief team and field medical facilities are ready as part of assistance offered by the government, said the ISPR.
