Watch Mufti Qavi pray for Mere Pass Tum Ho’s Danish to get hoors in heaven

• A video doing rounds on the internet showed the cleric, who is not new to controversy, praying for Mere Pass Tum Ho’s fictional character.

‘Mere Pass Tum Ho’ fever is still being talked about, even after two days of its concluding episode. The sad ending of the popular drama serial has left fans disappointed and in a recent viral video, even Mufti Qavi can be seen 'praying' for the drama’s fictional character who died in the last episode.

The Islamic cleric has been seen praying for Humayon Saeed’s character Danish's soul rest to rest in peace and also that he gets more hoors in heaven than he had here.

“God, please grant Danish, who has just passed away, the highest rank in Jannah. Bless him with more than what he had here, with more hoors [companions of paradise] than he had here and grant the girl, who just called me, the strength to bear the loss,” he said.

The last episode of popular drama serial was aired on Saturday.
