FAISALABAD: The moon of Rajab and Ramazan is expected to be sighted in Pakistan on May 22 and July 20 respectively.
This was stated by renowned astronomer Prof Muhammad Hamza Naeem in a statement on Tuesday.
He said that both months of Jamadi-us-Sani and Rajab will be of 30 days each. He forecast that the moon of Shabaan would be sighted on June 21 and of Ramazan on July 20.
He said the moon of Shawwal would be sighted on August 19 while Eid-ul-Fitr would be on August 20.
