A meeting of the departmental promotion Committee-I of Planning & Development Department, Sindh was held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of the Chairman Planning & Development Board, Sindh.
The Committee, after going through the service record, recruitment rules and performance reports of various employees of Bureau of Statistics cleared a number of them for promotion.
The promoted officials included nine statistical officers of grade 17 to the post of Deputy Director of grade18 and twenty one statistical assistants of grade 14 to the post of statistical officer of grade 17.
Also, four assistants of grade 16 were promoted to the post of superintendent of grade 17 and three junior scale stenographers of grade 14 were promoted to the post of senior scale stenographer of grade 16. Five junior clerks of grade 11 were promoted the post of assistant of grade 16.
Muhammad Wasim, Chairman Planning & Development Board Sindh directed the Director General Bureau of Statistics to convey his congratulations to the newly promoted officers. He hoped that the promoted employees would come up to the expectations of general public and worked tirelessly to provide solace to the people of Sindh.
