Shah Rukh Khan’s cousin Noor Jehan has passed away in Peshawar, Pakistan. Noor Jehan was a cousin of SRK and was suffering from oral cancer for a long time.
Speaking to a local media, Noor Jehan's younger brother Mansoor Ahmed confirmed the news of his sister's death on Tuesday.
Reportedly, many years ago SRK visited his relatives in Peshawar twice along with his parents. Noor Jehan is reported to have visited Khan twice in India in the year 1997 and 2001. Her family is said to have close contacts with Khan and other relatives in India.
Noor Jehan’s husband Asif Burhan has also confirmed the news of her demise. He told PTI that his wife’s father and SRK’s father were siblings and they used to often connect on the telephone.
