Deposit Protection Corporation (DPC) has delisted MUFG Bank Ltd as member institution with effect from January 31, 2020. According to an announcement by DPC, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has de-scheduled MUFG Bank Ltd as a banking company with effect from the close of business on January 31, 2020 vides its Notification No. BPRD (LD-06)/602- MUFG/2020/1260 dated January 17, 2020.
Consequently MUFG Bank Ltd will cease to exist as a member institution of DPC with effect from the close of business on January 31, 2020.
