Veteran Bollywood actress Shabana Azmi, who met with an accident last month, is back home after a brief illness. She shared the news of her recovery on Twitter and thanked her fans and well wishers for their prayers.
She also thanked the team of doctors and the nursing staff at the hospital.
The 69-year-old actor suffered head injuries when her car met with an accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway on January 18. Her husband, veteran lyricist Javed Akhtar, was also there in the vehicle but escaped unhurt.
After being admitted for nearly 13 days, Azmi got discharged on Friday.
