Justice Qazi Faez Isa has said the importance of freedom of speech and expression as well as press can be gauged from the fact that Article 19 of Constitution sets these out as fundamental rights.
He said this in a statement issued by his secretary to congratulate the newly-elected body of Press Association of Supreme Court (PAS). Qayyum Siddiqui has been elected as PAS president and Saqib Abbasi as general secretary for year 2020-2021.
