57 Pakistanis return from China as flight operations resume
- SAPM received 69 passengers including 57 Pakistanis and 12 Chinese.
- Pakistan had suspended all flight operations to China on January 31 following the outbreak of the deadly coronavirus.
After suspending all flight operations to and from China for three days, all flight operations were restored after 69 passengers arrived from the neighboring country on Monday morning.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) Imran Khan Zafar Mirza announced the arrival of the 69 passengers who arrived from China. China’s Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing was also there to receive the passengers.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus in China, more than 250 people have died and over 17,000 cases have been confirmed. So far, no cases have been confirmed in Pakistan. However, four Pakistani students in Wuhan, China have been diagnosed with the virus.
