The Customs Collectorate Appraisement Peshawar administration has formally launched the WeBoC - Web based One Customs system at Customs station Kharlachi, Kurram district. The import and export goods clearance process will be carried out at Customs station under the WeBoc system.
Ihsan Ali Shah, Collector Customs Appraisement said that business community will now easily file goods clearance at the Kharlachi Customs station from anywhere in Pakistan through WeBoc system, which would be proved more fruitful and beneficial for their businesses.
The official said the WeBoC is an online system, which has especially designed for bringing easiness in trade. He said the Federal Board of Revenue is trying its level best to introduce such system which can provide facilities to business community at every level, besides to give boost to trade and economic activities.
Ihsan Ali said the operation 24/7 is fully functionalized at Torkham border, while FBR also providing facilities at other borders in the country around the clock. Meanwhile, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has made a major reshuffle of officers from grade 18 to 20, which were deputed at Model Customs Collectorate Peshawar. Both collectors' appraisement and preventive have been changed.
