Departments of the Agriculture and Environment Protection Department (EPD) separately took out rallies in the provincial metropolis on Wednesday to express solidarity with the Kashmiri brethren and to raise voice for their right of self-determination.
Rally took out by the officers and officials of the provincial agriculture department were led by the provincial Secretary Agriculture Wasif Khurshid. Talking to journalists, he said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and Pakistanis will never leave their Kashmiri brethren alone in this trial.
Similarly, a rally was taken out by the Environment Protection Department led by its Secretary Saima Saeed, Additional Secretary Khadija Tul Kubra and DG Environment Tanvir Warraich. Largely participated by the employees, the rally started from Hockey Stadium Lahore and culminated at the Nasir Bagh.
Speaking on this occasion Secretary Environment Saima Saeed said that they condemn bloodshed of innocent Kashmiris while express solidarity with Kashmiris.
