Zartaj Gul was known - among masses - a very ordinary woman. She was trumpeted an emerging face of grassroots women leadership by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Both allergic and fed up of feudal lords who ruled the area for several decades, the innocent masses also blindly believed single word she uttered to exploit them throughout her election campaign under the pretext of getting rid of the status quo.

She never exhausted by saying she comes from backward Dera Ghazi Khan village. She takes great pride in defeating the status quo politicians especially the Legharis. She claims to be the 'champion' of the poor and the downtrodden. She always pretends to be a 'commoner'.

But things changed altogether when she elevated as a state minister for climate change in cabinet of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The woman who was voted to power by the masses became known for her impeccable sense of style.

The lone woman MP from Dera Ghazi Khan who always claimed of hating the 'protocol', boycotted a function in connection with Kashmir Day at Presidency in protest against not getting a seat in the front row.

The lady state minister turned up at the function well over 35 minutes late where President Arif Ali was the chief guest, was seen up in arms after she was asked to sit in the fourth row.

She expressed displeasure over unavailability of a seat for herself in the first row for arriving late. She kept shouting at protocol officers present at the Presidency that why a seat was not reserved for her in the front row as she was a 'federal minister'. A visibly perturbed lady completely forgot the difference between a federal and a state minister!

The protocol staff of Presidency explained that she came late due to which they could not accommodate her in the front row. But 'the voice of the voiceless' from Dera Ghazi Khan left the hall in protest as she thought sitting in the forth row would be an insult to 'her royal highness of Dera Ghazi Khan'.

Senator Professor Sajid Mir, who is the chairman of Kashmir Committee in Senate, also came late but did not mind when he was asked to sit in the fourth row.
