That no country have done it better than China is a fact that has found its best expression from the remarks of head of the World Health Organisation (WHO). According to Tedros Adhanom, the world has 'window of opportunity' to halt coronavirus spread. He has pointed out that dramatic measures taken by China to rein in the deadly new coronavirus outbreak have prevented significant spread abroad. "While 99 percent of cases are in China, in the rest of the world we only have 176 cases," Tedros reportedly said in a technical briefing to the WHO's Executive Board in Geneva.
I was deeply impressed by the talk of China's envoy to Pakistan about the five Pakistanis in China who have contracted coronavirus. His response to media questions was strongly characterised by his country's highly responsible approach to the coronavirus crisis, indicating that his country's response to coronavirus outbreak has certainly helped reduce the spread of this deadly virus to other countries. China's authorities, particularly the Communist Party of China, in my view, have done really well insofar as their efforts towards effectively dealing with the coronavirus challenge are concerned.
