A special court for Control of Narcotics Substance (CNS) on Saturday adjourned to March 07 the hearing of a drug recovery case against Rana and others for indicting the suspects. The court dismissed two applications of Rana Sanaullah Khan demanding video footage of his arrest in drug recovery case and release of his vehicle on "supardari".

The trial court also dismissed another application by the Anti Narcotics Force seeking day-to-day hearing in the case. A suspect in the case Muhammad Akram also filed application for one-time exemption as he did not appear due to death in family. The court also issued notices to the prosecution on three identical applications by Khan's wife Nabeela, daughter Iqra and son-in-law Sheharyar Ahmad against freezing of their bank accounts.

They pleaded that the ANF misled the authorities and got their bank accounts frozen relating them to 'fake' drug case against Rana Sanaullah Khan. A statement issued by the ANF said the force had never claimed to have possessed any video evidence against Khan. It said the court had already declared that the video claimed by the minister was not a part of prosecution evidence.

Rana Sana talking to media persons outside the court said he was fighting a war of justice against claimants of so-called Riasat-i-Madina. He demanded State Minister Sheharyar Afridi to present video of his arrest and alleged accomplice as previously claimed by the government.

Responding to media queries about current political situation, the PML-N leader made it clear that his party did not want to become part of any interim set-up. He said his party believed that the only solution to the current 'crisis' was in midterm elections so the government could be formed with the true mandate of the people.

Rana Sana said not only the allies of the PTI but the whole nation was angry with the performance of the government. He alleged that the ATMs of the Prime Minister Imran Khan had been robbing the nation. On conversion of former finance minister Ishaq Dar's house into a shelter home by Punjab government, he said the PTI had resorted to politics of revenge in the country. Rana also condemned the government for placing name of PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz on exit control list.

He said all politicians arrested in fabricated cases by the government were being now released on bails from the courts. He hoped that former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, former ministers Ahsan Iqbal and Khwaja Saad Rafiq and Salman Rafiq will soon be released on bails as, what he believed that the cases against them were fake.
