JUI-F to launch protest movement against price hike in March
General Secretary JUI-F Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Maulana Abdul Haq Darwaish has said the party is launching a new movement against worst price hike, imposition of taxes, unemployment, lawlessness and consecutive mini budgets from next month (March).
He expressed these views while presiding over a meeting of the JUI-S district Swabi on Friday. District Ameer Maulana Fazal Ali Haqqani was also present on the occasion. The movement is part of the JUI-F anti-government campaign 'Azadi March' to protect the constitution of the country. The movement would be formally launched from March 8, 2020 from all district quarters of the southern districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said the PTI government had failed in the fulfilling of the electoral commitments and basic problems of the people and had given nothing else than disappointment and national institutions were weakening each passing day.
The JUI-F leader said they were not only demanding peoples' rights in democratic manner rather would also launch a practical movement for the purpose, saying waging struggle in democratic manner was the holy war.
He said presently, JUI-F had become the only spokesman of the expectations and only ray of hope for the people as all other political parties had been failed. He said JUI-F had always competed PML-N, PPP, ANP and now PTI in elections. Maulana Darwaish said that education was a provincial subject and asked the provincial government to begin reforms from educational institutions and after talked about religious seminaries. He said they would never allow change in the education system of religious teaching institutions.
