The district administration would install 118 water filtration plants in the city for supply of clean water to citizens. Sources said an allocation of Rs428.4 million has been earmarked by the Punjab government. A joint meeting of district administration and public representatives held to mark the locations for this purpose.
According to sources, Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar has shown special interest in the project and issued instructions to the district administration to coordinate with public representatives and ensure clean water supply to citizens.
