A one-day conference was organized by "The Erudite Collective" in connection with the birthday celebrations of Hazrat Fatima (RA) here on Friday. The conference was preceded around the theme 'For all of us: Fatima is the Nucleus.'

The deliberations were delivered by eminent scholars and intellectuals including chairman Public Accounts Committee II of Punjab Assembly MPA Yawar Bukhari (Scholar), Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra (educationist, writer & scholar), Brig Syed Ishfaq Ali (educationist & scholar), Syeda Huma Taqvi (scholar), Saad Rasool (Advocate & Scolar), and Dr Salman Turabi (Scholar, Speaker & Educationist). The event was moderated by Zakir Ameer Hussain Jafri (writer & Speaker).

Umme Laila Azhar (founder of the group) explained about the objectives of "The Erudite Collective" which is a group of like-minded people from diverse backgrounds who want to address critical questions within the society, educate and generate debate to reach a solution in minimizing the increasing gaps within the society and to bring the young generation on board.

Chairman Public Accounts Committee II of Punjab Assembly MPA Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari shared his knowledgeable observations about Fatima (RA) as role model lady for Muslims. He emphasized that Bibi Fatima was the carrier and guardian of her father's teachings and portrayed all in practical. The speaker suggested to audience and especially young generation to read the life of Fatima (RA) as daughter, mother, wife, fighter, house manager, entrepreneur and philanthropist.

Dr Arfa Sayeda Zehra said that difficulty is always a blessing to evolve more. She spoke about the concept of oneness of God and Prophet (PBUH) and develops a society which believes and revolves around centralization. Dr Arifa further added that a dynamic society can be developed by adopting civilized rules and ethics and we are responsible for whatever we are doing, whatsoever we have not done and what we can do further. Progress cannot be made without following any law and without following rules a society can only get collapsed. So, it's better to keep our selves original, both from outside and inside and closer to God and nature.

Brig Syed Ishfaq said that life is a challenge which can be met only by developing and keeping a higher level of individual character. A society is made by these individuals and can have a long lasting impact on the upcoming generations.
