'Eliminating harassment at workplace': In-house training session organised for Nepra employees
An in-house training session was organised for all the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) employees on "Eliminating harassment at workplace" here at Nepra head office on Monday. The training was first of its kind in the history of Nepra, said a press release.
Tauseef H Farooqui, chairman NEPRA, in his opening remarks, emphasized creating a conducive working environment for all the Nepra employees. He was of the view that these kinds of trainings will provide better understanding to avoid harassment at the workplace among the employees.
Barrister Maham Durrani Niazi (the trainer from M/s Career Pakistan) elaborated the associated national laws comprehensively. The Protection against Harassment of Women at the Workplace Act, 2010, Section 509 of Pakistan Penal Court, and Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act 2016.-PR
