Structure: PAPGAI approaches NTC for removal of tariff anomaly
Pakistan Association of Printing & Graphics Art Industry (PAPGAI) has approached the National Tariff Commission (NTC) for removal of tariff anomaly in the tariff structure of printing industry.
The applicant stated that the printing industry raw material i.e. paper & paperboard, is taxed higher as compared to cumulative tax on the finished product (printed books and articles). This indicates a clear tariff anomaly in the tariff of printing industry and therefore, the applicant has requested for rationalizing of tariffs applicable to printing industry and removal of tariff anomaly.
