On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 4,212. The traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 1.691 billion and the number of lots traded was 3,368.
Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 710.881 million, followed by crude oil PKR 314.627 million, silver PKR 180.855 million, currencies through COTS PKR 116.680 million, NSDQ100 PKR 99.955 million, natural gas PKR 97.416 million, platinum PKR 69.737 million, DJ PKR 54.517 million, copper PKR 29.557 million, SP500 PKR. 14.119 million and Brent Crude Oil PKR 3.459 million.
