A Pakistani shoemaker from Peshawar has won hearts of Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise Peshawar Zalmi, as he gifted ‘Peshawari Chappals’ to every player of the cricket team, including their captain Darren Sammy.
From the video it appeared that Sammy and the shoemaker were candidly enjoying each other's company despite the obvious language barrier.
Darren Sammy thanked the craftsman for his gift on behalf of the Peshawar Zalmi team.
Darren Sammy received a tremendous amount of love in the past few years from Pakistan.
The opening ceremony of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) will be held on February 20 at the National Stadium, Karachi. The first match of the season will be played between defending champions Quetta Gladiators and two-time winners Islamabad United on the same day.
