Chicago Board of Trade corn futures rose 1.3% on Tuesday, supported by gains in the wheat market. The benchmark CBOT March corn futures contract broke through its 10-day moving average but closed below session highs after hitting resistance as it neared its 30-day moving average. The US Agriculture Department said that export inspections of corn totaled 795,228 tonnes in the week ended February 13, near the high end of trade forecasts that ranged from 600,000 tonnes to 800,000 tonnes.

South Korea's Major Feedmill Group purchased about 135,000 tonnes of corn to be sourced from optional origins in an international tender which closed on Tuesday, European traders said.
