The infighting between two groups of Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) has intensified after the debacle in the nomination of Pakistan's representative for the slot of President SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry surfaced.
Insiders claim that when former President FPCCI, Daroo Khan served legal notice to incumbent President and Secretary General FPCCI for withdrawing his nomination as President SAARC CCI in "violation" of SCCI&I Charter, a campaign was launched against him.
Daroo Khan has served another legal notice, now on Chief Internal Auditor FPCCI, Khalid Hanif for allegedly hurling accusations on him.
Daroo Khan's legal counsel, GM Qureshy, in the legal notice has stated that his client had sent a legal notice to sitting President and Secretary General, FPCCI on February 11, 2020 pertaining to the communication made by Chief Internal Auditor regarding changes made in nomination of Office Bearers for the EC and GA of SAARC CCI for the upcoming term of 2020-2021 in "violation" of Article 16 and 18 of the approved constitution of SAARC CCI.
