Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has expressed regret over violations of minorities' rights in India due to Hindutva policies pursued by the Modi-led regime.
She also said that the Kashmir Women's Resistance Day was the blackest day of Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir. In a tweet on Sunday, the special assistant said that severe protests against the Citizens Amendment Act and the National Register of Citizens in Shaheen Bagh had entered 60th day, which spoke volumes of the hatred and disgust against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
She said that the Indian oppression had been defeated by the patience and perseverance of Kashmiris and no one could stop them from the destination of achieving their freedom.
In another tweet, the special assistant said that the Indian occupation forces had established a dreadful example of collective disgrace of unarmed, innocent and helpless women, on this day. She paid tribute to the daughters of Kashmir who had sacrificed their husbands, and mothers, who lost their sons for the independence of Kashmir.
