OGDCL earns Rs 53.184 billion PAT in six months

The Board of Directors of Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in its meeting held on 26th February, 2020 at Islamabad announced the financial results for the second quarter (six months) ended 31st December, 2019 of fiscal year 2019-20. Net sales revenue clocked at Rs 133.441 billion translating to profit after tax of Rs 53.184 billion and earnings per share of Rs 12.37.

The Board of Directors announced first interim cash dividend at the rate of Rs 1.75 per share. The dividend will be paid to the shareholders whose names will appear in the Register of Members Monday, April 13, 2020.

During the period under review, the Company paid Rs 25.651 billion on account of Taxes. On the exploration and development side company recorded significant enhancement in seismic efforts and drilling activities.
