The futures spread declined by 9bps to 6.47 percent on the last day of the outgoing week. Trading activities on the futures counter improved significantly as average daily volumes surged by 231.5 percent to 160.25 million shares as compared to previous week's average of 48.34 million shares. The average daily trading value on the futures counter increased by 188.6 percent and stood at Rs 5.74 billion during this week.
