Pakistani actor Hamza Ali Abbasi has cleared that he has not ‘quit acting’ but has taken a long break and he will soon be back on screen.
Replying to a Twitter user, Hamza said: “I haven't quit acting because I don't see it anywhere in Islam as being haraam in itself. I just took a long break from acting to give more time to religion."
He went to confirm that he "will make - and maybe act - in projects made within boundaries Allah has set for us."

A few months back, Hamza Ali Abbasi announced that he is leaving the entertainment industry. Abbasi in his long video message, posted on his social media handle, asserted that he will focus on spreading the message of God and Islam. However, his recent tweet has come as a shock to many.
Currently, Hamza Ali Abbasi is seen on screen in drama serial ‘Alif’ moreover, his movie ‘The Legends of Maula Jutt’ is set to release soon in the cinemas.
