Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh Hammad N. D. Khan said Sindh Government has always scourged healthy activities. Particularly in the city-state of Quaid-e-Azam, the crime rate has gone up considerably during the last past years because there was no sports activity in the city, we want our youth to participate in such healthy activities, young peoples are future of Pakistan and healthy activities keep people healthy and smart, only a healthy human being will be able to get Pakistan out of this difficult time through better decision. This is he said as a chief guest in Inter-District Taekwondo Championship at Karachi.

While Korean Taekwondo Master Hang Sung SU, General Secretory Sindh Olympic Association Ahmed Ali Rajput, President Sindh Taekwondo Women Wing Majda Hameed, General Secretory East Saqib Khan, Master Asabeer from UAE, Secretory Sindh Taekwondo Association Kamran Qureshi, Secretory Sindh Taekwondo Karachi Khaldoon Raja, Faseeh ud din, Noor Abbasi, Mateen Maeez and others present the occasion.

He said Sindh government always preferred sports and added Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches in Karachi successfully conducted due to full attention of Provincial Minister Nasir Hussain Shah and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, for this they promptly repaired all surrounding roads and arrangement for it. "It all done to facilitate for viewer of PSL. We want that youth come up for the sports and leave negative activities, he said in a young generation education and sports can plays an important role in built healthy nation and the environment."

Further he said in a Pakistan eventually focuses on cricket, hockey and food-ball but taekwondo also need attention, we will provide all possible help even it is the responsibility of federal government, nevertheless, we will support it, further he said we have taken many steps to restore the lights of Karachi. As the game bring the message of peace, love and tolerance even it help to establish national unity. We have asked organizers for their suggestions today, any possible help would be in promoting this game, further he said occupied space for sports grounds will soon recover and we will be made into grounds. He said whatever we spent on sports, we do it with the grant of Sindh Government. He added that he has been fond of Taekwondo in childhood but there is no time for any sports, now our first priority is to provide maximum facilities to people of Pakistan.

Majida Hameed president of Women Wing Taekwondo said due to increasing number of attacks on women from all around the world, they need training of taekwondo. This skill help them with confidence and they will be able to self-protection and timely decision making. This enable women to keep secure not only, but also the others. In today's era, women should focus on learning this skill with the education. With the help of it, their fear can be overcome and no such traumatic event happened.

The Chief Organizer Faraz Usman said today more than 50 matches were played between players and about 600 players from 6 districts of Karachi participated in the championship. He said it is good sign for this game in Pakistan. He said District Center placed first in cadet and junior competitions wile District Malir placed first position in senior competition. On the other hand best discipline award was awarded to the District East gladiators and the player of the event award given to Ali Haider of Malir Kings.-PR
